Rodney Cammauf has over 35 years experience in photography all
over the world starting as a teenager with a Kodak Brownie camera
and developing film in a neighbor’s basement. Since then he has
received tutoring and mentoring from professional photographers in
all areas of photography. His last 7 years have been devoted to
digital photography.
Rodney's images have been used by magazines, newspapers,
television, government and commercial enterprises.
His latest assignments have been for the Everglades
National Park, National Park Service, and the Institute of Wildlife
Sciences.
Rodney believes is that through the appreciation of the
beauty of wildlife as well as understanding wildlife and the
environment more people will be willing to support the agencies and
organizations dedicated to the management and preservation of these
valuable resources.
He has dedicated the last few years in attempting
to capture images that illustrate wildlife in a manner that shows
their beauty and way of life.
It is his belief that what ever happens to the
environment will happen to us. Wildlife is an indication of the
state of our environment. If wildlife does not survive, mankind will
not survive.
